Amber Bondin


Amber Bondin (born 26 May 1991) is a singer from il-Kalkara, Malta.

She made her debut on the TV show ID in 2009. After a failing to make it to the semifinal of the Malta Eurosong 2010 with song Mediterranean Nights, she returned with a song called taking part in the Malta Hit Song Contest 2010 with a song called Take It Easy. She finished in 4th place.

Amber also sang theme tunes for the Maltese television drama series La Farfalla and Emilja.

In October 2010 she won the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza with the song Trid Tapprezza by Ray Agius and Alfred C. Sant.

She was the only singer singing two songs in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Both songs, Catch 22 and Touch Wood, are by Ray Agius. Lyrics for the first are by Godwin Sant while the other has words by Alfred C. Sant.

Catch 22 was featured on the 244th Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast as one of Toni Sant's top 5 picks from songs in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

She returned to the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 singing With His Eyes (Agius/Sant) and the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with In Control written by Paul Giordimaina and Fleur Balzan.

In 2014 on 7 th and 8 th February in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 Amber made it to the Final with her song Because I have You written by Paul Giordimaina and Fleur Balzan, and placed in the fourth place with total of 32 points.

Amber Bondin is managed by Adrian Saliba.

On 21 November, 2014 Amber taken part in the semi-final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015, with the song Warrior, and she made it to the Final held at the Marsa Shipbuilding on Saturday 22 November, 2014 with the last sixteen song. Amber wish become true, when she win this edition, when she gets 60 points. And she will be rapresenting Malta in Vienna in the Eurovision Songs Contest 2015.
