Alice Grech

Elizabeth Grech nee’ Bartolo, known as Alice was born on 1 June, 1952 in Mellieħa. She is a Singer.

She started singing in the early festivals that were organised in Mellieħa Malta, by Z.Ħ.N (Żgħażagħ Ħaddiema Insara) (The Young Christian Workers) with Frans Fenech in 1961 at the age of 9 years.

She continued taking part in other local festivals till the age of 15. where she sang the song Somewhere My Love in a festival that was held at the La Vittoria Band Club.

She met Joe S. Grech around this time. Later on in life, she joined Joe, and together they formed a duo, where together they sing and harmonise, while Joe plays guitar. For many years they played in the local hotels circuits, and local tv programms.they also played abroad in special venues in England and Romania.

She married Joe at the age of 21, together they formed a family with two sons, and well also known in music scene Julian Grech and Chris Grech, Today they form part of the metal bands Frenzy Mono and Nomad Son.

Alice is always supporting Joe in his music projects, till to day. Her hobbies beside singing are Reading, and creating original handmade crafts.
