Born in Żejtun in 1950, he is also a ''prim kitarrist'', and has played guitar for renowned folksingers, including Żaru Mifsud ''Il-Għaxqi'', Leli Sultana ''Il-Moni'', Żaren Mifsud ''Ta' Vestru'' and Żeppi Meli ''Ta' Sika''.
