Born in Żejtun in 1950, he is also a prim kitarrist, and has played guitar for renowned folksingers, including Żaru Mifsud Il-Għaxqi, Leli Sultana Il-Moni, Żaren Mifsud Ta' Vestru and Żeppi Meli Ta' Sika.
