Ġużeppi Xuereb Ix-Xudi is one of the most renowned folksingers of all time. Born in Birkirkara, he passed away in the 1950s.

He featured prominently on shellac records in the early Thirties.

Most of his early recordings have been digitally restored by Andrew Alamango of Filfla Records and released in digital format.
