Stolen Creep is the brainchild of Marie and Rebecca, childhood friends. The band has had many different members -- recently settling into the current line-up: Marie Borg Alden (guitars, vox), Katryna Storace (guitars, vox), and Rebecca Theuma (drums). Following a busy year of writing, re-writing, and rehearsals, we chose our favourite songs, and retreated to Temple Studios to record our first EP, Throw Your Heart to the Sea. | |||
Three girls, one band, Stolen Creep like: talking endlessly about our divergent (often bizarre) tastes in food; drinking tea or coffee (it's a dividing issue); stealing beer buckets & shooter glasses; going for random dips at ungoldly hours; slippers; speaking crap & laughing about it; holding head-bobbing, seated raves at the back cars while on the way to gigs; bouncing to music we love; starting a riot on the dancefloor; holding impromptu jam sessions including shakers, glocks, tambourines, anything that will make a noise; mosh-pits; cooking up electro fantasies on the synth; microphones that repeat what you say back at you. Making music with Love. Passion. And Wonder. | |||
