Hot Shots is a band who was formed at 1961 by four youngsters. Playing three lead guitars and a drummer.

There line-up was Arthur Desira, the late Twanny Desira, Lino Desira, and Wilfred Buttigieg.

Mostly they playing hits by the The Shadows, The Ventures, The Spotniks, The Shantays and others bands of that era.

At 1965 The Hot Shots changed name to The Templars, For some times they accompanying the singer Joe Grech, normaly they give shows at the Rocky Vale in St Julians

This the following line-up as seen left to right:

Dennis Buhagiar –Rhythm Guitar, Joe Buhagiar – Bass Guitar, Arthur Desira – Second Guitar, Wilfrid Buttigeg – Lead Guitar, Lino Desira – Drums.
