Although the biggest would be in 2007, when he was a finalist in the [[Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007]], together with 5 more members forming a group of young singers. This year once again Mattei is also a semi-finalist in the ''Talent Stabbilit'' section.		They also placed 3rd! Mattei took part in many musicals including, [[San Leonardo]], were he had the main part, [[Ġorġi Fjur Tal-Martri]], [[Jesus Christ Superstar]], [[El Mellaħa]] and [[Imħabba Fuq il-Għolja]].
