Recently she also took part in the Maltese islands festival in both the classical and musical theatre section in which she made it to the top 3. '''Mardy Farrugia''' was born on the 26 of January 2003. She lives with her family at [[Ħaż-Żabbar]]. She attends at [[St Aloysius]] sixth form.

She studies voice, piano, acting and Musical theatre. She’s been singing since she was 7 years old and at the moment she’s clasically trained by ms [[Gillian Zammit]]. She took part in various local and international festivals where she managed to make it to the top 3.

Recently she’s working on her Grade 7 classical voice exam. She had the opportunity to sing with several local bands including that of the [[Armed Forces of Malta]]. Recently she also took part in the Maltese islands festival in both the classical and musical theatre section in which she made it to the top 3. She took part in various masterclasses namely [[Carlos Conde Gonzalez]], [[Mackenzie Thomas]] (Broadway), [[Kurt olimann]], [[John Ferguson]], [[Iskra Menarini]] and [[Miriam Gauci]]. She also attends [[Johann Strauss School of Music Malta]] where she studied both classical and contemporary voice.

She has also been taking Musical Theatre lessons since she was 13 years old. She’s recently studying for her grade 5 Musical theatre exam under the tution of Ms [[Nadia Vella]]. In the future Mardy would like to graduate as a speech therapist and perform in the [[Royal Opera House. Mardy would like to thank her family and friends and all those who supported her throughout her journey.
