			He was born in [[Xewkija]] and at an early age used to spend hours playing his elder brother's old electric keyboard. Some years later he started attending a music school at [[Sannat]]. After some years he couldn’t find a reason why he should keep playing when all he could do was practice those boring piano exercises over and over again. He decided to stop playing for about a year and all he did was listen to Beatles, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Thin Lizzy, The Who and Uriah Heep on his dad’s cassettes till they didn’t work any longer. He felt empty, uninspired and unmotivated to play until one day he got my first keyboard, swapped for a classic piano and that changed everything. He started playing during the Sunday mass at a local church and that gave him another perspective of being a musician in a band.

As years went by he began playing with friends; he had quite a lot of bands that never made it out of his own garage. They were always into rock’n’roll and metal but also started listening to many different types of genres. Meanwhile, he had already started playing in restaurants and hotels as a part time job and eventually also ended up playing with his dad’s band.

One day [[Keith Anthony]] called him to play with ‘Mel and Keith’ for a couple of gigs. After 5 years of playing together, Ismael became an official member of Chasing Pandora.

Ismael always had a thing for dark music and clothes, it reminds him of dark days he might have had as a child/teenager, but also makes him feel peaceful at the same time. Occasionally he put black nail polish on only because he likes it and think it’s cool though and yes only black nail polish :). His biggest idol is Canadian musician and record producer Devin Townsend whom he admires for his unique music in which there’s much more to it then just metal.
