'''Francesca Galea''' (born 14 November 1982) is a jazz singer from Malta.

She attended jazz improvisation classes at the [[Johann Strauss School of Music]] under the tuition of [[Joe Debono]], and vocal technique lessons with [[Ivan Degabriele]].

In 2010/2011, when she lived in Portugal, she attended vocal jazz classes at [[JB jazz school]] with [[Claudia Franco]] and [[Sitio de sons, Coimbra]] with [[Susana China]]. In Paris, she followed vocal jazz and Brazilian rhythm classes with [[Michele Hendricks]] and [[Myriam Sidi]] respectively and was part of both samba and maracatu percussion groups in 2012 and 2013. Here she formed a Brazilian music duo called [[Os Dois]] with guitarist [[Roberto Stimoli]].

Throughout the years, she has attended various vocal jazz, Brazilian music and Choro workshops in Crest, Paris and Carcassonne.

She performed in the [[Malta Jazz Festival 2010]], with pianist [[Leonardo Montana]].

In 2013, she was the winner of the first edition of the [[Malta Jazz Contest]].

She performed in the [[Malta Jazz Festival 2014]], accompanied by band members [[Renato D'Aiello]] (tenor sax), [[Claudio Angeleri]] (piano), [[Yoni Zelnik]] (bass), and [[Karl Jannuska]] (drums).
