	David Stephen Shephard was born on 16 April, 1957, in Farnborogh, Kent and grow up in a family home with his parents and 3 older sisters at Chislehurst, Bromley UK . He had a wonderful childhood and attended school and college and eventually entered the world of Printing as his chosen profession. 	Apart from his main love of music (particularly country music) David was always a very active sportsperson and played Cricket, Football and athletics to a high standard. Later in life when his playing days were coming to an end he qualified as a referee in both Football and American football. 	David moved to the USA in 1999 where he lived for many years and of course this allowed him to get much closer to the music he loves and the artists he draws so much inspiration from. Living in Texas was a great experience in his life and watching 2 of his sons finish their schooling and graduate there was also a highlight. He returned to his native England but never really settled as he found it just did not seem to feel like home anymore, and one day went on a week’s holiday and never returned. 	This holiday took him to the beautiful island country of Malta. He fell in love with the country and its people and decided this was the place he wanted to call home. 	That was nearly 2011 years ago now and David has settled and made so many new friends. It is safe to say though that once again his Country music roots has followed him and he has quickly got into the music scene in his new home of Malta. He still records albums, he still performs live and even though Malta may not have the largest country following he has made friends with other country artists here that share the same passion to continue to see country music grow here in Malta. Married a Maltese women Dawn with 5 grown up sons David has always held family life as an important part of everything he has achieved and accomplished. Over the years David has changed careers on a couple of occasions and is currently working within the transport industry in a supervisory capacity, an industry he has been committed to now for well over 20 years.

Throughout his life, One thing has never changed and that is his love of music. David has a varied taste in music and lists such genre’s as Rock, Opera, Reggae, Tamla Motown and 70’s glam rock as some of his favorites, and if he had to choose, Gloria Estefan would be his greatest artist of all time. However his greatest love of music would always be his devotion to Country Music.

David has been involved for over 40 years in the country music industry as a singer, songwriter and musician and has always enjoyed being in the studio recording albums, performing live at various venues or simply kicking back and listening to his country music hero’s at concerts around the world whenever he has had the chance.
