She started practicing the piano at the young age of 6. Being surrounded by musicians in her family, because Cher she is the daughter of singer composer [[Philip Vella]] and sister of composer and piano player [[Sean Vella]].

Cher made her way into the music industry in [[Malta]]. She believes that lyrics give life to music and therefore she works hand in hand with her father in various projects. Cher had numerous entries in the [[Eurovision Song Contest]] as well as other known festivals in Malta.
