In 1956, following the demise of Mr. [[L.V. Farrugia]], Miceli Farrugia became managing director of the company. Better known as ''"Is-Sur Nin"'' he was responsible for the creation of the bitter-sweet new drink Kinnie. He retired in 1995 but went on to serve aspresident of the newly set-up [[Farsons Foundation]].
