[[Offset]] may be all of these, but the faces behind it all bear a fair degree of familiarity on the local music scene. At the helm of Offset is [[Adrian Attard Trevisan]], formerly a regular presence on the DJ circuit and an artist in his own right. Aside from performing under the [[ADY]] and [[Soulful Impulse]] aliases, Adrian is also an accomplished sound engineer, songwriter and all-round producer with a wealth of experience to boot! Much of his recent years were spent in the UK, where he studied and worked with music production teams such as Jiant and Move, at one point even making it to the finals of the Unisong International Songwriting Contest. His major partner-in-crime in Offset is [[Billy J]], whose main role is song-writing, although he is said to be equally nifty in the studio and with a camera in his hand. With his tastes spanning the music spectrum – from pop, R&B and Latin to rock, gospel and world music – Billy J is a valuable asset to this new project. Completing the line-up are MC/rapper [[Vince Leguesse]] (brother of [[Sixth Simfoni]]’s [[D Legacy]]) and singer [[Janice Debattista]] of Christian rock band [[Salt]]. Together they recently recorded their debut single [[Re-Cap]], a smooth tune with plenty of soul and verve that’s found its way onto the local airwaves!

[[Category:Published articles]]
[[Category:Articles by Michael Bugeja]]"
