Rachel Fabri

Rachel Fabri (born 12 September 1985) is an actress and singer from Tal-Ibraġġ.

Rachel completed a Masters in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting (UK) and is Head of Music at Masquerade School for the Performing Arts. Rachel also graduated with a Psychology (Hons) degree from the University of Malta and has a Child Psychology diploma.

Prior to this, she trained at Masquerade and privately with soprano Gillian Zammit. Rachel forms part of classical-crossover quartet All Angels, with whom she has performed at Wembley Stadium (Champions League Final - Opening Ceremony 2011), at the O2 arena, Manchester arena, Sheffield arena, Birmingham LG arena, the Elgar Room and the Royal Albert Hall, for the MaMa Dinner at the House of Commons, for HRH Earl of Wessex at Spencer House, headlined their own show at the Leicester Square Theatre, at the International Cricket Awards staged and filmed at Grosvenor House, the Katherine Jenkins Concert (Nottingham), for the Royal British Legion Concert in both London’s Guildhall Cathedral and in Spain at the Lesley Garrett Concert at King’s Place, the Pontypridd Festival (Wales), at the Usher Hall (Edinburgh), they performed in Heraklion in Crete and at the ‘Inspiration Awards’ held at Cadogan Hall (London) and at the Royce Hall (Los Angeles).

As part of the group, Rachel has been seen on BBC1’s The One Show, Channel 4 feature on All Angels and at the 2011 Classic Brit Awards at the RAH. Together, the group released an EP called ‘Starlight’ (available on iTunes) which they launched at Covent Garden’s Apple Store.

Rachel’s UK theatre roles include: Lead role in Persephone (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), lead Cassie in Make Believe (Henley Festival), Cockney Girl in Me and My Girl at the London Palladium, Polly Browne in The Boyfriend, Oolie in City of Angels – (directed by Cheryl Kennedy), Rachel in When Midnight Strikes at Bellairs Playhouse – (directed by Michael Vivian), Soloist in Musical Theatre Showcase at the Criterion Theatre, Fran in A Slice of Life at London’s New End Theatre – (directed by Andrew C.Wadsworth), and Young Girl in Anything Goes at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Guest Soloist in UK tour Beyond the Barricade. Rachel also features in the Lee Tamahori film The Devil’s Double, playing Arabic singer Abdel Akle.


Malta roles include: Soloist in Movie Spectacular alongside the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra; Lead soloist in the musical theatre comedy revue Comedy Tonight, Snow White in Masquerade’s pantomime The Curse of Snow White, Lead soloist in Simply Webber, Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Fatimoma in Tin Pan Ali, Alice in Ragged Child, Daughter in King and I, Narrator in Dracula Spectacula and Annie in Annie - (Masquerade Theatre Co.); Cinderella in Into the Woods, Befana in La Befana - (Drama Troupe); Debbie in The Real Thing, Princess Bianca in the Sleeping Beauty pantomime - (MADC); Soprano in ‘Semele’ (British Parnassus Co.); Soloist in Voices 2002, 2006 and 2012 concerts; Self/Co-director in With Friends Like These and Director/ Musical Director in Lucky Stiff – the Musical (Masquerade).

In December 2013, Rachel performed in the 16th edition of Teatru Unplugged.
