John Laus Il-Lajżer
is a folk singer. He was born in 1943 and hails from Gżira but has Qormi ancestry. He is currently one of Malta's most known makjettisti, verse which verges from the humorous to double entendre.
Laus has released several records on vinyl. Amongst his several releases he has the 1999 album X'Għandek Man?
He is very active on the local circuit.
